Filtration
The Filtration and bright beer facility offers a range of equipment for the final processing of beers prior to packaging. Primary filtration is provided by one of two lines operating Schenk horizontal leaf kieselguhr units bodyfeeding a mixture of the diatomaceous earth and silica hydrogel.
Secondary filtration is also covered using a Schenk machine but this time operating reclaimable PVPP.
Each Stream, including the two road tanker intake lines, have chillers and carbonation to ensure correct levels prior to packaging. More variation can be provided for "low CO2" beers using our state of the art, Hydrobrane, nitrogenation membrane system or in-line dilution with deoxygenated brewing water for high gravity brewed products.
