Using existing competencies we embarked on a project to fill a 330ml. container with a range of products including Grolsch.

We were approached by Carlsberg to fill a new concept in 500ml PET for beer in order to replace their existing offering filled by another contractor.

From the outset, this project demanded an integrated approach with teams from within Charles Wells, Scottish Courage and a range of material and equipment suppliers.

The 5 litre minicask was conceived during the evaluation of the 5 litre vessel for bright beer applications. It is an example of the quest for technical innovation sought by Jarvis Solutions, particularly where alternative applications for technologies can be quickly realised.

Using in-house expertise we evaluated a number of options for collating sale units of four, six, eight and twelve cans. For some time we had been observing the development of film based packs within the soft drinks, food and pet care sectors resulting in our decision that this was the way to proceed.
